On October 13, the 2023 International Island Tourism Conference, hosted by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Zhoushan City, was grandly held in the Zhoushan Archipelago, Zhejiang, China.

Themed "New Silk Road, New Growthe Drivers, New Opportunities", the conference aimed to synergize international island tourism development, shape a new economic engine for the island tourism industry, and lead the innovative trends in island tourism destinations. It would contribute Chinese wisdom to the common good of promoting sustainable marine development, international maritime order, and marine prosperity and welfare.
