From May 27 to 29, 2024, the highly anticipated ITB China International Travel Trade Show was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. CTG INTERNATIONAL made a remarkable appearance, presenting unique tourism products and innovative services to domestic and international buyers, demonstrating the revitalized energy of the tourism industry.
ITB China has long been recognized as a premier B2B platform tailored for the Chinese tourism market, fostering efficient exchanges and cooperation between China's tourism sector and the global market. This year's ITB China brought together over 600 tourism organizations and enterprises from more than 80 countries and regions, sparking discussions on the future of China's tourism market.
At the event, CTG INTERNATIONAL showcased its diverse portfolio of tourism products and high-quality services through multimedia displays and interactive experiences. The company engaged extensively with industry experts, media, and consumers, offering valuable insights into both the Chinese and global tourism markets.
With the introduction of new visa-free policies and expanded flight capacities, China's tourism market has seen robust growth in 2024. As both a witness and participant in this recovery, CTG INTERNATIONAL has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of tourism. This year, the Shapotou Scenic Area, a CTG INTERNATIONAL destination, partnered with Trip.com Group to introduce a range of overseas travel products, providing seamless booking services for international visitors. The first international tourists of 2024 have already benefited from these offerings. Additionally, Trip.com's overseas ticketing machines have been successfully deployed at the Shapotou Scenic Area, providing convenient and efficient ticketing services for international travelers. In September 2023, China's first Cross-Border Tourism Cooperation Zone, the China-Vietnam Detian (B?n Gi?c) Waterfalls Cross-Border Tourism Cooperation Zone, began its trial operations. Since its opening, the zone has attracted a significant number of Vietnamese tourists, underscoring the growing potential for cross-border tourism and cultural exchange.
